We three went to a music festival called The Big Chill on the weekend. We arrived on Thursday at 8.30pm and set the tent up in pouring rain. Brrrr...

Iggy loved the festival atmosphere. He loved crawling around and charming the groups of people on the grass. Sometimes he would wander away so far that people would wonder who he was with! He ate Morrocan cous cous and vegetarina sausages.

We all had a brilliant time. Except on Sunday morning when we had a frost and Softly was sleeping near the side of the tent. Iggy was fine on his bed of sheepskin rugs.

See the photos here.

Also, this is Iggy's first birthday invitation.

Iggy is almost one!! Here are some photos of Iggy at 11 months old. Summer came to London for about a week, but so did some crazy terrorists and their bombs so we didn't get to enjoy it too much.

Iggy now has eight teeth. He recognises lots more words and expands his own vocabulary daily. He loves walking, with the help of two grownup fingers for support, and kicking balls and balloons around the house.

His cuddle buddies are Pickle Mouse and Jóse.

Here is Iggy at nine months old. London is warming up now, we had a lovely picnic with Stacey, Jon and Oli (who is ten months old) on Sunday.

Iggy has two bottom teeth, and one fang coming down on the top left. He shows it off by snorting with excitement. His favourite foods are goats cheese, bananas, strawberries, avocadoes. Hide and seek with Daddy is a favourite game, and watching the washing machine a true delight.

Here is Iggy at seven months old. We have just had 3.5 months in Australia, absolutely lovely... now back in London just in time for those early sparkling Spring days that energise the soul. These photos were taken in Singapore Zoo and London.

Iggy is now crawling. He LOVES bathtime, laying back in 3 inches of water kicking and splashing himself into a frenzy. He is fascinated by hair and paper. Banana is his favourite meal (apart from the boob!). And he is very very ticklish.

Here is Iggy at 10 weeks old. Looking chipper despite bitter London autumn winds, and daylight savings clocked over this weekend... dark at 4pm!

To be reminded of his loveliness simply download higher resolution pics for printing, links under the photos.

The first six weeks have past and here are some photos. Iggy Bravo Price has been feeding well and grows before our very eyes.

He likes walks in the evenings with mummy to meet daddy at the bus. He hates being swaddled, preferring to sleep with both arms above his head. He laughs at silly mummy's noises. He sucks at Chamomile Tea at the first sign of evening colic.

His hair has been receding like an old man's and no sign of any hair to replace it yet!

Next week Iggy has a checkup and the first of the 5-in-one jabs...eep!

The little monkey is 21 weeks old today! Here is a new ultrasound image at 20 weeks and 5 days.

The scan was all clear... meaning healthy heart and kidneys, high placenta, all limbs accounted for and it is growing well. We saw it sucking, and clenching its hand.

It is with great pleasure that Darren and Softly annouce the imminent arrival of their baby in the Year of the Monkey. The first week of August is when monkeybaby will arrive, around the 8th or 9th August 2004.

While Softly struggled through the first 3 months, morning sickness taking a lot out of her she is now officially blooming. A bump is sneaking out and her skin is so soft! (Cravings were pretty plain; a big mac, cornflakes and pancakes... on various occasions. Aversions are to frying bacon, any kind of pork product really, and the smell of soaps and shampoo.)

Papa D is as proud as punch.

Here is a photo from the first ultrasound. It doesn't show as much as the actual video... we know the baby has the two halves of the brain, a cute nose and lovely lips. Plus two arms and two legs... no tail spotted. The baby was very active during the scan, waving its little hands and tossing around like Softly does in bed.
