Mister Bravo turned 2 last week and he had a lovely party with Amy and Oli and their mums and dads coming over. They ate banana cake and tortellini with pesto while the grownups drank champagne. Iggy discovered the joy of candles HERE (video)

We went to The Big Chill festival again this year. Iggy loved the big open spaces and didn't want to come home! Softly's favourite bands were Jose Gonzales and Nizlopi. See some video HERE

In July Iggy's friend Oli turned 2. She had a picnic in the park and Amy, Elsie, Jimmy and Iggy were all invited. The highlight of the day for Iggy was the kite, watch Oli's dad Jon be so patient with Iggy and then Iggy tell Jimmy all about the kite HERE (video)

Vi, or VoVo, sent Iggy a Playschool CD and a lovely photo album of his trip to Australia for his birthday. Watch him open the presents HERE (video) (warning 15MB!)

FRIDAY 12 MAY, 2006

2 more videos of Iggy in London:
• feeding the ducks in St James Park, but really feeding pigeons HERE
• at Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guards HERE

THURSDAY 11 MAY, 2006

Phew! These days be flying! Our Iggy is now a rough and tumblin' toddler with an ever-growing vocabulary, eg:

NA-NA = honey or emergency vehicle
DOCK-DOCK = yoghurt or helicoptor

... and that pretty much sums up his 4 main loves.

These and going to Hackney Farm, click HERE to see a video of Iggy feeding the goat.

And HERE is another video of Iggy wearing a bow in his hair... too cute.

FRIDAY 30 DECEMBER, 2005

Another quick update with new photos from our latest adventure... living on a houseboat!

When the lovely Sharyn heard about the concrete dust covering our entire house she kindly offered for us to stay in her beautiful houseboat while it was empty over Christmas. Of course we jumped at the chance!

The 'Lambhay' is moored on the Thames near Wandsworth Park in Putney. HERE are some photos.

We had Christmas morning on the boat (note the sunshine! beautiful!), then we drove to Alan's house for a late lunch. Alan and Paula have three kids, Elliott, Olivia and Amelie... the youngest being very close to Iggy's age. Alan cooked yummy turkey, and we also ate brussel sprouts and plum pudding. Iggy loved being around the other kids.

Happy Christmas to everyone!

We have gathered some photos of Iggy and our tree, plus we three as a family HERE The cute elf suit is from Great Aunt Helen (thank you!).

Iggy has been really enjoying the company of Oli Scott these days. They have known each other since their mums met in pre-natal yoga class. Oli is very bossy with Iggy, but also rewards him with kisses so he is often happy to oblige.

On the weekend we had a Christmas breakfast at Hackney Farm with Jon, Stacey and Oli (18 months), Dave, Corinne and Amy (20 months), and Rebecca, Jamie and Jimmy (20 months). Iggy loved the pottery class that was on next door and playing with Amy's jitter ball.He ate almost all his baked beans and scrambled eggs.

TUESDAY 29 NOVEMBER, 2005

Iggy Bravo is walking!! See video footage HERE.

Holly came to visit us, and she had a great day out with Darren and Iggy in the countryside of Kent. They ate fresh strawberries and got very hot. (Softly had to stay at home and do some work)

Iggy has had the Chicken Pox and then the London Gastro Flu (shudder). He's a trooper.

And then in October we finally moved house. Our new house is three bedrooms and three floors of DIY delight. Iggy loves the staircases. Lots of climbing action. PHOTOS
